Firefox Killer

While Mozilla's Firefox is an excellent and superior browser, it retains a frustrating problem--it frequently remains in memory after the main window is closed, preventing future instances from starting.

This is a small application that first checks for any running instances of Firefox, closes them if found, and then starts a new instance.

Using it is easy:
  1. Make sure you have the .NET Framework 4.5.1 installed on your computer
  2. Copy the executable (FirefoxKiller.exe) to any folder on your hard drive
  3. Modify your main Firefox shortcut to point to FirefoxKiller.exe
The programming source code is provided here so you can verify its safety, as well as modify it if you wish.

Limited support is available in the Issues section here, as time permits.
